NS Healthcare Hero: Scott Phillips

Id like to nominate Scott Phillips for your Healthcare Hero campaign.

Scott has been a PCP in Antigonish for the past 8 years. He also is a Senior Operations paramedic and part of the Equipment Standards Committee.

Not only is he a competent, compassionate medic, he also is a mentor to new paramedics, as well as paramedic students. He is a rockstar at juggling shift work, long hours, and extended shifts with his most important job of being the best dad in the world to 2 year old Avery.

These past 2 years have been especially hard for everyone in healthcare, and our paramedics are struggling. They are invaluable, highly trained medical professionals and literal life-savers. Thank you for recognizing them! They deserve some positivity and support!
