NS Healthcare Hero: Timothy Colburn

“I am writing to nominate Timothy Colburn as a Healthcare hero. Tim has been a paramedic in Nova Scotia for over 30 years. He has taken on many roles and received many awards during his career.

He has worked very hard over the years showing endless compassion for the people and communities he serves, even during some of the most difficult times in healthcare. He has always put everyone’s needs and wants before his own. He is kind and caring towards all and has a very strong work ethic.

He has worked through many changes and challenges over his 30+ years; he has always had the ability to adapt and to this day strives to give the best quality of care to the people of Nova Scotia. He goes above and beyond whether it is for a patient, co-worker, family or friend.

For those of you who know Tim, and there are not a lot of people who don’t, you know how true this is. Tim is definitely one of a kind and very deserving of this nomination for his many years of dedicated service in healthcare.”
